For a tuner its a joke, that you need 15% DSP power of a single DSP card. A multi band mastering compressor needs the same DSP power.
The function is very good as expected, slow ballistics.
This plug-in is not so good for "Heavy" multi-track recording. The CPU is too much!!! Sound is okay for metal, not for Pop-Sounds and the price is also too much!
Presets are not very expressive. At the sound of a little brightness
I was ready to buy this plug-in but have been put off by the lack of flexibilityin the speaker ir's. I like to control the mic position and the eq. Of course in their wisdom the developers are not allowing us to do thisI think that most of the mic positions are on the cap which explains the rather hard sound of most of the emulations. Why is there no indication of the mic position? Why are there seemingly no cone or cone edge using a ribbon for the sweeter sounds. Perhaps the designers did not have any tweeters in their monitors because I think a lot of the sounds and eq choices are way too bright. Unfortunately they plugin does not seem to work well with external irs. There is only one speaker set up I like and this is not acceptable.
I was glad you decided to do powered instruments such as the ENGL. I bought the high gain amp. The gain is pretty decent, but I have to agree with most of the reviews here. I was rather underwhelmed by the lack of presence and bite. I have to get most of the controls cranked and bass turned down to get anywhere near some crispness. The single cabinet doesn't help since the controls aren't that effective. More tonal diversity and effectiveness from the EQ would be nice. But one way or another, just get that bite in there as it should be. I bought another Brainworkx amp before, and was similarly not so impressed: but I had hoped something made for UAD for be better. So far, my best amp plugins remain the free ones like "Lepou".
the visual surface is not good to read!
sound is cool
