Couldn't be more pleased, I always used the Dim D on my mixes back in the 80s and 90s and feel very 'at home' having it in my system again.
It's the little magic, which I needed! Works great on almost everything!
Absolutely beautiful. Been trying to achieve this with other choruses, but nothing came close to this. One of my favourite UAD plugs.
The Dimension D plugin doesn't do a lot of things, but what it does do is simply amazing. Set the plugin up as a Send and dial in as much (or as little) as you want.
If you have two mono sources like acoustic guitar and voice, put the guitar through the Dimension D plugin to give the song instant stereo width. I use this plugin on literally every song I mix.
Excellent plug in. I've not used the original but this sounds great. Very little flexibility (no wet / dry for example, as on the hardware) but it does everything you'd expect.
It's really useful and unique for making stereo back vocals or backgrounds.
great plug in , very simple but sounds great...
i try it on almost anything , it's amazing ...
Astonishing sound, right price thanks to promotion. This should be the current price for UA plugins.
Fun to use if you want to add a little something to a generic part. I use the Dimension D on filler guitar parts and simple melodies just to make them pop out a little more.
My favorite stereo chorus plugin for tracks with realy analog poly-synthesizers.
For sounds like Juno strings etc...
I love being able to have just a subtle fx or explode when called for. stereo width in very well done.
Roland really nailed it with the hardware, and UAD nails the emulation.
Best use: throw this on an aux send, punch in all four, dial small amounts in on those pesky narrow sounding instruments. Discrete, sonically pleasing and does exactly what it's named for.
great little box
did nice job on almost every instruments
very simple to use
Works on so many things without the fuss. Cool because it's more then just a Chorus with it's unique addition of width and some vintage vibe. It's also affordable, especially when on sale. Four Thumbs Up!
I love the Dimension D I recently purchased. I have to say it's the most subtle yet usable chorus I've ever heard. You can practically patch it into the channel and it will be OK. I haven't ever used it that way however. Stunningly simple stupidly easy to use. Sounds friggin great!
I've been so disappointed by all the plugins on the market that try to emulate this FX that i couldn't resist to purchase the UA version just a few minutes after demoing it !
It's so sweet and subtle to my ears... i just love it !
But the most important thing to me is the phase coherence. Almost any emulation i tried so far would make the sound disappear in a mono check. Not the UA one... that's what you get from high-end stuff folks !
Thumbs up UA ! Easy 5 stars for me.
I recently bought the Dimension D plug in and it's exactly what I was looking for this plugin in particular, it can be as subtle as you need but yet adding depth and stereo imaging... I use it for background vocals, acoustic and electric guitars and I can use it all day long... I'm so glad I got it.
It doesn't work with everything, but it can really make a difference sometimes.
If you want something to get noticed in the mix this will do it ,,,,, I been putting it in an effect loop to blend it . If I had a mix control knob I would insert it on a channel . Its a lot different than your average Chorus effect
Very good, makes the audio becomes fuller, add body. Very good for guitar, voice, guitar, and various other indispensable.
